As with her previous single &#8216;<a href=\"https:\/\/essentiallypop.com\/epop\/2019\/01\/klara-mcdonnell-sinking-unknowing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Sinking Unknowing<\/a>&#8216; her upcoming track &#8216;Wasted&#8217; was in collaboration with Beardfire Music Production Studio. &#8216;Sinking Unknowing&#8217; saw a wide variety of radio airplay across the world including; Germany, Holland, South Africa, the UK, the US and of course the singer\u2019s homeland, Ireland.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">With &#8216;Wasted&#8217; set to receive similar attention \u2013 and rightfully so \u2013 McDonnell feels that her music is not made for radio. Her musical style \u2013 with its story telling vibe and American style production \u2013 is best suited for live performance and stage in front of an audience.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The singers\u2019 powerful vocals in &#8216;Wasted&#8217; are sure to put you on a roller-coaster of emotions from feeling fragile one minute, to angry the next. The sound and lyrics are very much inspired by the likes of Joni Mitchell and Bob Dylan. McDonnell explains that:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cAlthough \u2018Wasted\u2019 deals with the depths of addictions and is melancholy, I feel overall there is a hopeful tone\u00a0to the song which I hope will resonate.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8216;Wasted&#8217; will be out on the 26<sup>th\u00a0<\/sup>July.
