It&#8217;s an upbeat love song of sorts, dedicated to his best friends, who by the sounds of it are just as lucky in being the friends of Almost Owen.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Almost Owen is the nom de plume of Isaac Haselkorn, who spent his teens playing drums in local bars and jazz clubs in the Boston area. He went to Berklee College Of Music, but following a series of accidents was unable to continue playing drums due to restricted use of his left arm. Not letting this get him down, and after the urging of a teacher and a chance meeting with Paul Simon &#8211; we&#8217;d love to have been a fly on the wall during that conversation &#8211; he packed up and moved to New Delhi, India, where he stayed for almost a year, writing and recording his own songs, while teaching music and performing throughout the country. Since then, taking the name of Almost Owen, he has played more than 500 shows across the US and overseas, and nothing will stand in his way.<span class=\"text_exposed_show\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8216;One Lucky Man&#8217; was mixed by Jonathan Castelli, who&#8217;s known for his work with the likes of Khalid, Kesha, and VERITE, and in his hands he gives the dance pop track an indie soul.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8216;One Lucky Man&#8217; follows on from Almost Owen&#8217;s previous release, &#8216;One In A Million&#8217;, which although it only came out on May 17, has already seen close to 100,000 streams. Both tracks promise exciting times for the artist, who is already known as one of the rising stars of Boston&#8217;s burgeoning pop scene, and is now setting his sights on conquering the world.
