His upcoming album, &#8216;Hard Time&#8217;, is set for release on August 9, and tells the story of his never-ending quest for personal freedom.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The title track is the third to be released from the album, following on from &#8216;Shipwreck&#8217;, and &#8216;Last Night&#8217;, both of which were met with critical acclaim, and &#8216;Hard Time&#8217;, with its unpretentious folk and blues sensibilities, should be equally praised.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Jeremie will be touring his album this summer across North America, and although he will be taking in a lot of major cities on his journey from the Atlantic to the Pacific, he&#8217;s also made time for the small towns to whom he owes his style, including Prince Edward&#8217;s County town of Picton.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The video for &#8216;Hard Time&#8217;, directed by Mark Klassen, shows Jeremie working as a mechanic, dreaming of an escape from the drudgery of overwork. He finds solace in his dreams, and dances his way through the final verse, addressing his lines to camera.
