He&#8217;s been nominated for an Emmy because of Linda; but that&#8217;s just one memorable aspect of his life &#8211; he&#8217;s also had the pleasure of collaborating with Blondie, singing with Debbie Harry on &#8216;Love Level&#8217;, from Blondie&#8217;s 2017 album, &#8216;Pollinator&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8216;Looking&#8217; is lighthearted, even over-the-top, and reflects Roberts&#8217; love of 80s pop, punk, and new wave.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Director Ned Stresen-Reuter understands the exact aesthetic Roberts is wanting to achieve, and &#8216;Looking&#8217; features vintage video effects, fluorescent lights, and even a few mannequins with illuminated headgear, a la Yazoo&#8217;s &#8216;Upstairs At Eric\u2019s&#8217;. It&#8217;s period perfect: John&#8217;s wraparound shades, push-button telephone, the patches on his studded leather jacket, even his dance steps.
