Ferris & Sylvester have released their brand new single \u2018Flying Visit\u2019. The soulful love song finds the pair baring their hearts and pleading for the other to stay through their raw vocal delivery. The song begins and ends with the simple statement \u2018I love you\u2019, and travels through a child-like yet sombre confession accompanied by guitar, strings and a Hammond organ.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Regarding the single Ferris & Sylvester say,<\/p>\n

\u201cQuite simply, it\u2019s a love song. It\u2019s all the things that we often want to say – \u2018I love you, please don\u2019t leave me\u2019 – but we stop ourselves because we\u2019re grown up and grown ups don\u2019t do that. Children are much better at speaking their minds and that\u2019s what inspired this song \u2013 unaffected and unashamed love.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Additionally, Ferris & Sylvester launch an exclusive flame red 12\u201d vinyl for Record Store Day tomorrow (April 13th), which features a wonderfully stark stripped down demo version of \u2018Flying Visit\u2019.<\/p>\n

The Record Store Day vinyl also features the highly acclaimed singles \u2018Sickness\u2019 and \u2018Burning River\u2019. The songs are some of their most raw and powerful and have clocked up millions of plays on Spotify, while receiving radio support across the board of Radio 1, BBC 6Music, Radio 2, Radio X and BBC Introducing \u2013 who also invited them to record a live session at Maida Vale Studios.<\/p>\n

Regarding the release Ferris & Sylvester say,<\/p>\n

It is a real a milestone. It feels amazing to actually hold it in our hands and spin it on our turntable! These songs show where we are as songwriters at this moment in time. Ferris & Sylvester have been quick to make 2019 their most important and exciting year yet. The band completed their first ever UK headline tour, which saw them sell out the entire nine-date run across the country \u2013 a testament to their rapidly growing and expectant fanbase.<\/p>\n

They played their first ever shows in the US and headed out to Texas to play a number of dates throughout SXSW festival. They proved themselves one of the hottest tipped artists of the week, featuring in NPR\u2019s \u2018Austin 100\u2019 list, while also spotlighted by Mandatory, Austin City Limits and many more.<\/p>\n

Ferris & Sylvester are one of the UK\u2019s hardest working live bands and continue to play more shows across the world over the coming months.<\/p>\n

They have just finished a European tour with Billy Lockett and kick off the UK leg tonight (April 12th) at the Birmingham O2 Institute 2. Following this Ferris & Sylvester will play as part of the Under The Apple Tree UK tour this month with Wildwood Kin.<\/p>\n

The band are also playing a number of high profile festivals throughout the summer including Live At Leeds, Liverpool Sound City, The Great Escape, Black Deer Festival, Belladrum Festival, Boardmasters and many more.<\/p>\n
