Freshly signed to RCA,\u00a0X-Factor\u00a0winners\u00a0Rak-Su\u00a0have today released their latest single\u00a0\u2018Yours or Mine\u2019<\/a>.\u00a0Their first single since hit track \u2018I Want You To Freak\u2019,\u00a0\u2018Yours or Mine\u2019 is a\u00a0fusion of catchy lyrics, reggaeton and rap which captures that signature, soulful sound the four-piece love to give us.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Speaking about the track,\u00a0Rak-Su\u00a0said:<\/p>\n

\u201cWe asked each other what conversations do you have in the early stages of a relationship that you could turn into a song? And one of us said \u201cyours or mine?\u201d I think they were joking but the rest of us thought actually, when you do like someone and you\u2019re having a fun night together, it\u2019s a question that comes up! When you start weighing up the options, distance, who lives alone etc…it can be a really funny one!”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Recently, the band released a four-track EP\u00a0\u2018Rome\u2019. Drawing on their own musical tastes and life experiences, the EP delivers throwback sounds reminiscent of what their fan base fell in love with. As well as promoting their new music, the Rak-Su boys have been busy working with the\u00a0NHS\u00a0to promote giving blood.<\/p>\n

Originally championed by DJ Target at 1Xtra, Rak-Su then went on to make history by\u00a0winning\u00a0X-Factor in 2017 with their own song \u2013 the first act ever to do so. Their track \u2018Dimelo\u2019 released in 2018 featured Naughty Boy and Wyclef Jean, and was a contagious Latin-pop scorcher that shot to No.2 in the singles chart.<\/p>\n
