Gabrielle Aplin has today released her new single, ‘Nothing Really Matters’, a celebration of positivity and self-love.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Produced by Lostboy, the track comes from Aplin’s forthcoming third album, which is set for release later this year via AWAL, in a major global deal between the label and Gabrielle’s own Never Fade Records.<\/div>\n

Speaking about the single, Gabrielle said,<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u201c \u2018Nothing Really Matters\u2019 is about the battle between the excitement of wanting to open up, and the fear of opening up.\u00a0I was having one of those days where I questioned the validity and importance of everything around me, and how much time, energy and thought I gave to things that really, didn\u2019t matter. It\u2019s about focusing on what\u2019s really important to you.<\/p>\n

“I wanted to push myself vocally, challenge the way I think about structure in a song, experiment with how I say what I need to say lyrically, whilst still focusing on what it is that makes me the artist I am. This song has really pushed me and surprised me and I\u2019m so excited to release it into the world!\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

‘Nothing Really Matters’ is the follow up to her previous single, ‘My Mistake’, which she released late last year. That track saw Gabrielle pull right back on production, and bare her soul, in a beautiful piano ballad, which was blisteringly honest.<\/p>\n
