To coincide with Neon Waltz\u2019s biggest ever UK headline tour this month covering 15 dates nationwide, the band release a brand new single\u00a0\u2018Friends Who Lost Control\u2019 on\u00a0Ignition Records\u00a0\u2013\u00a0available to stream and download here<\/a>.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The single is produced by\u00a0Spring King\u2019s Tarek Musa\u00a0and recorded at the iconic\u00a0The Motor Museum\u00a0studio in\u00a0Liverpool.\u00a0 The track is accompanied by an innovatively shot video, directed by and starring the band\u2019s front man,\u00a0Jordan Shearer, shot in Liverpool city centre during the recording sessions. Precarious walking in reverse and astutue editing combine to unusually alienating, yet entrancing effect.<\/p>\n

\u2018Friend Who Lost Control\u2019\u00a0follows recent single\u00a0\u2018The Stranger Things\u2019\u00a0which was playlisted byRadio X\u00a0and received support from\u00a0BBC Radio 1\u00a0and\u00a0BBC 6 Music, plus widespread praise across a host of music media.<\/p>\n

Neon Waltz spent 2018 touring relentlessly and building on their loyal live fanbase. Following a tour with\u00a0The Sherlocks\u00a0and a vast array of festivals, they ended the year with a sold out tour with\u00a0DMA\u2019s\u00a0in December.<\/p>\n

Their current headline tour takes them on a 1,200 mile round trip, which will also see the band appear at\u00a0Sunday Sessions, Norwich\u00a0and\u00a0Bught Park, Inverness\u00a0with headliner\u00a0Noel Gallagher\u2019s High Flying Birds\u00a0\u2013 and more dates across the summer to be announced soon.<\/p>\n
