March!&#8217;<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<!-- Random Ad stuff --><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-2076862002005673\" data-ad-slot=\"3107208401\" data-ad-format=\"auto\" data-full-width-responsive=\"true\"><\/ins><\/p>\n<p><script>\n(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It&#8217;s a jolly and upbeat track, sung in a Mockney accent (although given the group are from East London, it&#8217;s probably the real deal), while lamenting the painfully pleasant qualities of a love interest&#8217;s partner. It&#8217;s reminiscent of the early David Bowie track, &#8216;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=2C557hnSKIQ\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Rubber Band<\/a>&#8216;, which likewise was sung in this way, from the point of view of a jilted lover.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8216;Boyfriend&#8217; lists dreadful, despicable, and deplorable qualities that they would rather the boyfriend exhibited. These include slightly humorous and lesser offences such as barging onto trains, and littering, going all the way up to important\u00a0<span lang=\"EN-US\">social and\u00a0political\u00a0issues such as climate change denial, zero-hour contracts and NHS privatisation.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nat And The Noise Brigade showcase their considerable musical abilities with &#8216;Boyfriend&#8217;, and provide a glimpse into what to expect from their EP.\u00a0 During their live shows, the band asks the audience to shout out their personal pet hates, which front-man Nat assembles as a new verse on the trot. Shot around East London, Brighton, and around a gig at Hackney&#8217;s Paper Dress Vintage, the clip features sock puppets who act out the lyrics, and it&#8217;s frankly, quite hilarious.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nat And The Noise Brigade are an eight piece group from East London, whose progressive, alt-pop, complete with brass, flute, and synths, catchy melodies, and foot stomping beats, is very hard to resist.
