Una Healy released her latest track, ‘Strangers’, this past Friday, February 15. The song is deeply personal, and was written by Una, alongside Alex Maile, and Laura Oakes. It’s available now to download and stream from all major digital distributors.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Speaking of the track, Una said,<\/p>\n

\u201cI have always expressed myself through my songwriting and \u2018Strangers\u2019 is probably the most personal and honest song I\u2019ve ever written. While the last few months have been very tough, aside from my incredible family and friends, music is what\u2019s helped me get through it. I hope this song helps anyone else going through a similar situation.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

‘Strangers’ was written about Una’s feelings regarding her recent tough year. She’s been a regular in the studio the past few months, making a start on her second solo album, and ‘Strangers’, produced by Maile, is her first new music for this year.<\/p>\n

Una has made her family and her album her primary focus these past few months, but she’s also had time to reveal some other exciting news and collaborations. Una Healy has just been announced as the new Saturday morning presenter on new Bauer Radio station, Country Hits, set to launch in early April. She also recently co-hosted Ireland’s ‘Six O’Clock Show’, and has launched the third range of her “Una Healy – Orginal Collection” of shoes.<\/p>\n

Una releaed her debut solo album, ‘The Waiting Game’, in 2017, and has worked with some of the world’s most acclaimed songwriters and producers, including Grammy Award winner, Amy Wadge, and Ben Earle, from The Shires. The album contained folk, pop, and rock melodies, woven within echoes of the country music she grew up with. ‘The Waiting Game’ is available to stream on Spotify.<\/p>\n
