Grammy Award-winning singer\/songwriter and visual artist Solange Knowles has released her new album\u00a0When I Get Home\u00a0via Saint Records \/ Columbia Records.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

<\/ins><\/p>\n

The album is an exploration of origin. It asks the question how much of ourselves do we bring with us versus leave behind in our evolution. The artist returned to Third Ward Houston to answer this. The album, which was written, performed, and executive produced by Solange, is available now digitally everywhere.<\/p>\n

Additionally Solange announced that a special event will take place across Houston\u2019s Third Ward on March 3rd. More details can be found\u00a0here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The album includes contributions from Tyler, the Creator, Chassol, Playboi Carti, Standing on the Corner, Panda Bear, Devin the Dude, The-Dream, and more. It also features samples from Third Ward\u2019s own Debbie Allen, Phylicia Rashad, poet Pat Parker, and Scarface.<\/p>\n

This release represents the next phase in Solange\u2019s evolution as an artist. Since the release of her critically acclaimed album ‘A Seat at the Table’ in 2016 Solange has conducted performance art shows at the Guggenheim Museum and the Chinati Foundation in Marfa, Texas. She has had video art installations showcased at London\u2019s Tate Modern and the Hammer Museum in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n

It has also led to her performing sold out shows at legendary venues across the world including Radio City Music Hall, the Kennedy Center, and the Sydney Opera House.<\/p>\n
