David and Sebastian Fox were exposed to music at a young age, by their father, a travelling musician who wrote protest songs in his native Argentina, and gave them a love of a wide range of musical styles. The Fox brothers are trained and touring classical guitarists, who play in small theatres across Europe, and have even shared the stage with Pavarotti. Chase The Jaguar howeer, is all about the other love in their lives: stripped back indie rock.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

‘Never Let You Down’ is the first single from Chase The Jaguar on M.E.G. Records\/Neurodisc Records, and will feature on their upcoming album, which they are currently in the process of writing. M.E.G. Records was founded by late Maurice Gibb, of the Bee Gees, and when the label heard what the Brothers Fox could do, immediately partnered with them.<\/p>\n

The video for ‘Never Let You Down’ is the result of Chase The Jaguar’s DIY ethic. David’s voice, ethereal, world-weary, is heard in near isolation, with the faintest of instrumentation. He’s seen walking around Miami – the clip itself shot at 3am when the streets were at their emptiest. They shot as much as they could, grabbing footage on the go, on the streets and rooftops. The song is a reworking of a Michael Baker original, made their own by an adjustment of the arrangement and key.<\/p>\n

Chase The Jaguar have played to local fans, and also toured Argentina and Cuba. They’re currently in the process of working out national tour dates, as well as European spots. Basically, the duo never stop, and there’s a hint of that even in their name, which comes from the idea of never ceasing to go after what means the most to you, no matter how elusive, or out of reach it seems.<\/p>\n
