With a deep drum and bass sound and and an old skool feel freeflow, Jamarr Jett focuses on the good things in life. His life motto is to stay true to himself, and if it has nothing to do with who he wants to become in life, then it just “don’t matter”. It’s great advice that more of us should take hold of, too often we can find ourselves concentrating on what others say or think about us, when in reality we should be focusing on the things that really matter, that go into making us better people.<\/p>\n

The steady paced rhyming of ‘Don’t Matter’ is laid on a bed of drum and bass, and some far eastern style bells. G5 outlines how he’s gone over in his head about past relationships, and the impact of words on his life from others; he comes to the realisation that “that shit don’t matter” – regardless of whether or not it comes from a friend, partner, or relative – what matters in the end is how he sees himself.<\/p>\n

‘Don’t Matter’ has a real club feel, and is certainly worth having a longer listen to the lyrics. It’s positive, uplifting, and inspirational. The track comes with a music video, which shows G5 as a NASA astronaut, who is trying to keep it positive, and concentrating on the things that really matter. It’s a great representation of how high he intends to soar: he’s not content to be confined to earth, he’s heading for the stratosphere.<\/p>\n
