I read about this heart sausage that M&amp;S were doing that looked super scrumptious however it\u2019s mixed with truffle and I\u2019m not the biggest fan of truffle; so I think this year, I\u2019ll give that one a miss. My most romantic Valentine\u2019s Day was probably long walks along a beach front with my then-partner\u2026I haven\u2019t really been that lucky in love to have a series of great Valentines, but the beach-front walks were certainly romantic and sweet\u2026with a brisk wind and a look of adoration from your partner, mixed with a portion of chips to share; it really is the simple things sometimes. I have made a silent rule to myself to put myself \u201cout there\u201d more this year in terms of dating\u2026 normally I go on one date with a guy and get really hung up on him, but this year, I\u2019m allowing myself the opportunity to explore.<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<!-- Random Ad stuff --><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-2076862002005673\" data-ad-slot=\"3107208401\" data-ad-format=\"auto\" data-full-width-responsive=\"true\"><\/ins><\/p>\n<p><script>\n(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">I went to see the revival of \u2018Avenue Q\u2019 on Wednesday at the New Wimbledon Theatre. \u2018Avenue Q\u2019 was one of the first shows I saw on the West End nine years ago when I moved to London\u2026 I thought at the idea of me doing a Performing Arts course that I should divulge myself into some Theatre, so that was one of the one\u2019s I watched. It\u2019s insanely hysterical and I was intrigued to see if they would alter it for a modern audience, but it was one\u2026 I have to say though, there was one lady who enjoyed the song \u2018Everyone\u2019s A Little Racist\u2019 a bit too much; one of those moments where one\u2019s laughter becomes a little awkward.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">These songs have been getting me through the week, whilst I admit I\u2019ve only really been listening to Ariana\u2019s album and Meghan Trainor\u2019s EP since Friday.<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">Meghan Trainor \u2013 &#8216;All The Ways&#8217;<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"Spotify Embed: All The Ways\" style=\"border-radius: 12px\" width=\"100%\" height=\"152\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen allow=\"autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; fullscreen; picture-in-picture\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/embed\/track\/2BNQpd87nSv475zdww9K0Z?si=d1OIHGRfSYyFwMkDvtfzZA&#038;utm_source=oembed\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">Meghan dropped this little pop ditty last year as a promo single for (what was considered) forthcoming album \u2018Treat Myself\u2019 and it truly deserved full single treatment. It\u2019s a really poppy, light-hearted number detailing falling for someone and them falling for you and just having that realisation that this relationship is simply going to work out\u2026 it has a self doubt complex running throughout it \u201cI need more details \/ more texts, calls and emails\u201d. The track is now the opening track on her newly released EP \u2018The Love Train\u2019 which sets the perfect mood for Valentines Day and features super-bops \u2018Foolish\u2019 and \u2018I\u2019m Down\u2019 and the gorgeous, adult contemporary ballad \u2018After You\u2019. Meghan got married at the end of last year and her music very much complements where she is now mentally\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">Ariana Grande \u2013 &#8216;Ghostin&#8217;<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"Spotify Embed: ghostin\" style=\"border-radius: 12px\" width=\"100%\" height=\"152\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen allow=\"autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; fullscreen; picture-in-picture\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/embed\/track\/2vdBo4ALPYbHRUPKgtE5iC?si=LgdDuZtpQAeRhEgAF1ocwA&#038;utm_source=oembed\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">\u2018Ghostin\u2019 is possibly one of the most talked about Ariana songs at the moment\u2026the song has a fairly complex narrative to it which sadly, I find myself relating to a lot more than I would want to admit\u2026it\u2019s about being in a relationship with someone but wishing they were someone else\u2026preferably that one guy you\u2019re still hung up over.\u00a0 It\u2019s about that pain that you suffer watching someone making such an effort to make you happy when they know you\u2019re still hung up over your ex\u2026I remember an encounter a while back when I was in bed with a guy and we were watching TV and I was rubbing his neck and thinking to myself \u201cyou\u2019re not him\u201d. Shameless. The track is very stripped back and to give a slight impression of who the track might be about, it samples a Mac Miller track.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">Lizzo \u2013 &#8216;Juice&#8217;<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"Spotify Embed: Juice\" style=\"border-radius: 12px\" width=\"100%\" height=\"152\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen allow=\"autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; fullscreen; picture-in-picture\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/embed\/track\/0onslUNmSLDkuYaideYWir?si=nupIw6riTdm-Mprc3OeTBw&#038;utm_source=oembed\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">\u2018Juice\u2019 is a super bop! I don\u2019t know much about Lizzo but I saw a few people on Twitter talking about this track, so gave it a listen, as I love knowing what people are listening to and they did not disappoint. The song has this funky vibe to it and is full of meme worthy lyrics and any track that references Chardonnay is going to be a hit with me. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">Halsey \u2013 &#8216;Without Me (Illenium Remix)&#8217;<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"Spotify Embed: Without Me - ILLENIUM Remix\" style=\"border-radius: 12px\" width=\"100%\" height=\"152\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen allow=\"autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; fullscreen; picture-in-picture\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/embed\/track\/4bw3ZyWA1ui0Adu285NWDl?si=AJcuqhJ2Ro6UgzsJyBUtjg&#038;utm_source=oembed\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">Interestingly, I don\u2019t normally like remixes, however I heard this version on an Avril Lavigne insta-story and was blown away and after hearing the original, I felt kind of underwhelmed, so I kept my attention to the remix. The track details a romance where you bring somebody new into your life, who may have not been in the best place mentally when they had first met and as the relationship blossomed and the person\u2019s mental place got stronger, the relationship did not\u2026 we see the narrator Halsey questioning what went wrong \u201cput you right back on your feet just so you could take advantage of me\u201d. It\u2019s a fairly selfish narrative, but it\u2019s one we\u2019ve all experienced\u2026 the grass is always greener and what not. The track is super catchy and I love the way she slurs \u201cgirlfriendddddd\u201d, it almost justifies her behaviour, that BTW I totally am okay with\u2026there\u2019s a guy in my timeline that I think about sending this too as he gets a little too friendly towards me after a beer\u2026 #BreakUpWithYourBoyfriendImBored. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">I\u2019m really excited for this coming week as it\u2019s my niece\u2019s 6th birthday and then of course there is Valentine\u201ds Day.
