SCOTT says, &#8220;I miss landlines&#8221; &#8211; and it&#8217;s true, there&#8217;s no reprieve. He raps and writes with that authority which comes when you&#8217;re someone overcome with deep and profound feeling. SCOTT has become one to watch, as he&#8217;s risen in one of the most competitive hip-hop scenes in the US, the Detroit metro area. He grew up in Grand Rapids Michigan, and he is proud of his working-class origins, with songs such as &#8216;Blue Collar&#8217;, making it clear what are his priorities.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">With &#8216;Let It Go&#8217;, RYN SCOTT discusses the positives of serenity, but make no mistake, ti&#8217;s a hip-hop song, and with the video, we see RYN on the peaceful shores of a woodland lake &#8211; arriving behind the wheel of a vintage 70s white AMC Matador.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Producer and video director of &#8216;Let It Go&#8217;, Jake Bass, who is also the owner of Bassment Sounds 2.0, SCOTT&#8217;s independent label, fills the track with instrumentals such as piano, synthesizer, guitar, and tasteful sound effects that reinforce the rapper\u2019s confessional storytelling.
