Circuit3 has produced his synthy take on the Greg Lake classic ‘I Believe In Father Christmas’.

Originally released in 1975 by Greg Lake (ELP) and kept off the UK Number 1 spot by the Queen classic ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’.

Recorded in Dublin using classic retro analogue synthesizers this is a charming warm synth take on the Christmas classic.

Circuit3 said of the track,

“I was reminded of this song a few days ago and was struck by the humanist approach to celebrating this holiday. I was that little boy one Christmas morning with eyes full of tinsel and fire.”

When pushed on whether this is a protest song he says,

“You’ll have to ask the songwriters! If you want it to be a protest song then it could be. Maybe it’s simply a fine song that evokes the spirit of the Christmas holiday with bittersweet images.”

Circuit3 has recently released the new single, ‘For Your Own Good’, the lead single from his new album, which is set for release early next year. You can find more information about it here.
