Lead single, &#8216;When We&#8217;re Gone&#8217;, was featured as &#8220;Today&#8217;s Top Tune&#8221; on KCRWs website, while Savage Thrills praised its &#8220;quintessential beauty&#8221;. Follow-up track, &#8216;Closer To You&#8217;, builds up on this momentum, and has already been described as &#8220;sonic bliss&#8221; by Culture Collide. Amo Amo has already opened for Brazilian pop masters Os Mutantes, acclaimed Ethiopian soul artist Hailu Mergia, and Californian folk-rock singer-songwriter Jonathan Wilson.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The video for &#8216;Closer To You&#8217; prominently features Love Femme, who also directed the clip. The other members of Amo Amo are still however making their presence felt; as faces in the flowerbed where she frolics, and the voice of the land she walks on. Love Femme has included some gorgeous Southern California scenery, too, including a dramatic cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
