The clip,directed by Naich\u00e9 Caudron, is just over 18 minutes long, and features conversation between Marianne and Cave, interspersed with footage from the studio, captured at the time. It&#8217;s a deeply personal, fly-on-the-wall look at the recording process, and a sensitivity that&#8217;s underlies the obvious close friendship between Faithfull and Cave, as well as her other collaborators, Warren Ellis, Rob Ellis, Ed Harcourt, Rob McVey, and Mark Lanegan.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Faithfull talks about being discovered by Andrew Loog Oldham, setting her life in a direction different to that which she had planned: the then 17 year old Faithfull had intended to attend university, but instead, found herself singing on the Rolling Stones&#8217; penned song, &#8216;As Tears Go By&#8217;. And that, as they say, was that.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Marianne Faithfull posted on her <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Faithfull_M\/status\/1059582705405431808\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">social media this week about the new album<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cThank you everyone for loving and appreciating my record.
