Cockney Rhyming Slang for &#8220;lies&#8221;, the title reflects his East London roots, and the artwork features a colourful self-portrait, in which Collins has shown himself as having no mouth, in effect, hinting at words left unspoken. BBC Introducing DJ Tom Robinson described &#8216;Porky Pies&#8217; as having &#8220;lovely vocals and sharp lyrics&#8221;, which is high praise indeed for a first release from a very recent newcomer.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The clip, directed by Tom Precey, Yannick Hausler, and Molly Tebbutt, sees Josh clearing his mind in the great outdoors, and taking time to reflect on his life. After spending time caught up in his own thoughts, he finally breaks his reverie and takes in his surroundings, whereupon he finds himself confronted by a spectacular view. It causes Josh to embrace the path he&#8217;s found himself on, that his journey isn&#8217;t as fraught as he might think, and there&#8217;s no use in trying to hold back someone from going their own way.
