EFG Private Bank, already the sponsor for their London Jazz Festival, have renewed the title sponsorship for another five years, taking their partnership to 2023.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

John Williamson, Chair of EFG International, announced the sponsorship renewal on September 17 at the launch party in London’s Mayfair Hotel, adding:

“<\/i>2018 also marks the 10th anniversary of our partnership with the EFG London Jazz Festival, during which time we have seen the Festival go from strength to strength. \u00a0As an organisation, we aspire to share and celebrate the distinctive qualities which make jazz such an exceptional art form, embracing creativity and innovation, freedom of individual and collective expression, diversity and collaboration. \u00a0Through our sponsorship programmes we also strive to help up and coming talent establish their voice on a global stage.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The EFG London Jazz Festival is produced by Serious<\/a>, one of the UKs leading producers and curators of live jazz, international, and new music. Serious produces events that range from major concerts, festivals and national and international tours through to learning and participation programmes, conferences and specially commissioned bespoke events. Alongside its core role as a live music events producer, and programme consultants, it works in artist and rights management. Parallel to this exists the registered charity, Serious Trust, which has been established to support the next generation of artists and audiences through our artist development, learning and participation and commissioning programmes.<\/p>\n

This year’s EFG London Jazz Festival opens on 16 November, with its signature glittering gala performance, Jazz Voice, where\u00a0Guy Barker\u2019s\u00a042-piece orchestra teams up with some of today\u2019s most individual vocalists in a spectacular celebration of song, hosted by\u00a0Jumok\u00e9 Fashola. \u00a0\u00a0This year\u2019s line-up includes\u00a0Laila Biali,\u00a0Allan Harris,\u00a0Deva Mahal, Anthony Strong, Zara McFarlane\u00a0and\u00a0Lisa Stansfield, with further names to be announced.<\/p>\n
