He released his first demo at the age of 19 and then toured the West Coast shortly after. Water District came to him as an idea formulated while he was living in a van outside a studio, where he worked as a technician, and Griffin was consumed with a passion for pursuing his dream. He found other members, Erik Williams on drums and Ryan Scottie on bass, and soon after relased a demo album, an EP, and several singles, which have been met with critical acclaim.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The video for &#8216;Dream With Your Eyes Open&#8217; is a definite nod to their pop rock influences, and shows the band on stage lit up by flashes of neon blue, pink, and green.
