Hailing from the streets of New Jersey, Alexis learnt very quickly that music was something that she wanted to pursue fulltime. She was 12 years old when her father was diagnosed with cancer and she decided to record Mariah Carey\u2019s \u2018Butterfly\u2019 as a tribute. It was after this incredibly hard and sad period that Alexis realised her life ambition \u2013 to bring joy and relief to those in pain with her music.<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">She quickly joined her school choir and despite her lack of choral experience was soon elected to be their lead vocalist. The new track comes accompanied by a live music video which will be premiered exclusively on Essentially Pop.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">So what\u2019s next for an artist whose acclaim is set firmly on an upwards trajectory? Well <em>\u2018Gospel\u2019<\/em> is set to be released on August 5<sup>th<\/sup>, and with new music already in the pipeline, I don\u2019t think Alexis Keegan is going to be disappointing us anytime soon\u2026.
