Robby is the odd man out of the group &#8211; aged 25 he acts as their main mentor. They also have a great production team including Johnny Young from Message to The Masses and Nicki Morzov from The Night Game and Dan and Shay. Off to a great start, these guys have always wanted to produce music with some members trying to break into the business at age fourteen. Vocalist Nikko was actually sixteen when he joined the band and his struggles with his father influenced their first self-titled EP. Nikko\u2019s father was diagnosed with cancer which brought up a lot of emotional turmoil and frustration for the singer while he was struggling to balance where he stands within himself and his family. This is highlighted in the video for &#8216;Memory&#8217; and it showcases the anxiety of growing up in a time of hardship and struggle.<\/p>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<!-- Random Ad stuff --><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-2076862002005673\" data-ad-slot=\"3107208401\" data-ad-format=\"auto\"><\/ins><\/p>\n<p><script>\n(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8216;Memory&#8217; is Who We Are&#8217;s first official video, and is a showcase of not just the song, but of the band-members&#8217; stories. Centering around Nikko, who is trying, but failing, to heal his relationship with his famiy, the video is directed by Johnny Young, who put them in touch with Escape The Fate&#8217;s guitarist, Kevin Thrasher. Shot in the San Fernando Valley, the video opens with text messages from Nikko&#8217;s dad telling him to come home, but instead he decides to have a drag race around town. Naturally, this doesn&#8217;t please his parents, who call him out and beg for the return of the song they once knew. There&#8217;s a lot of teen angst in the song, and in the clip we see Nikko&#8217;s parents trying to save him before he finally self-destructs.
