Currently in The Dead Daisies’ lineup are guitarist Doug Aldrich, singer John Corabi, bassist Marco Mendoza, drummer Deen Castronovo, and rhythm guitarist David Lowy. The band has been beating their own path to success since 2013, and the most recent of their four four studio albums, ‘Burn It Down’, was released last spring. The Dead Daisies tour the world on a regular basis, and have played festivals such as Download UK, Hellfest France, Graspop Belgium, Sweden Rock and the Wacken & Band Your Head Festivals in Germany.<\/p>\n

The video for their latest single, ‘Rise Up’ (which is currently performing in the top 40 on the Active Rock charts for both Media Base and BDS) is a commentary on the world in which we live today. The viewer is shown how poorly humans treat the environment, and how the environment rebels in response. Shots of hurricanes, fires, and pollution, it’s a picture of a prediction of complete destruction and irreversible damage. Also featured in the clip are images of popular cartoon characters holding guns, demonstrating how much the media manipulates even the very youngest. This is contrasted by shots of smiling children – their innocence lost all too soon. \u201cOh why the blind keep on leading the blind\u201d making it a perfect visual aspect to their record. \u201cRise Up\u201d then comes to an end in a very real but unexpected positive way, showing real people who can make a change.<\/p>\n
