The Texas native has had an extensive career, where he&#8217;s showcased his Mexican heritage with his take on country music. He demonstrates this love in his latest single, &#8216;I Am A Mexican&#8217;, in order to shed a light on problems that Mexicans, both resident in and outside the US, face on a day to day basis.<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Rick has charted a total of fourteen times on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, as well as reaching the number 1 spot in 1996, for his single, &#8216;Running Out Of Reasons To Run&#8217;. The video is very simple yet quite effective, and both song and clip also feature legendary accordionist, and seven-time Grammy winner, Flaco Jiminez.
