‘Trench’ is the second release from Boxwork, and released on his Boxwork Music label. It’s a cacophony of experimental and Eastern sounds somehow consolidating with radio broadcasts. It’s at once an aural assault as well as a pleasure to listen to.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

‘Trench’ is in equal measures jazz fusion, funk, soul, electro pop, and dance. There are a multitude of tempos, odd samplings (such as the afore-mentioned radio braodcasts), and very experimental electronica. The listener is thrust down a rabbit hole of musical directions which somehow work together well.<\/p>\n

‘Trench’ is Boxwork’s second release on his eponymous label, following on from ‘Heading North’, which was released last month, the soundtrack to a film of the same name. ‘Trench’ is set for release later this summer, and will be available as a limited-edition vinyl package, including an artwork print by Craig Johnson II. It will aslo be available to stream and download.<\/p>\n
