East Sussex band The Equatorial Group gear up to release debut album \u2018Apricity\u2019 out May 25th<\/sup>, 2018.<\/h4>\n

Starting off the ten-track album, with country-tinged \u2018Lights Shine<\/a>\"\"\u2019, before moving onto acoustic piece \u2018Juggernauts\u2019 to a more instrument heavy folksy \u2018Surrogate Funeral\u2019, to slow-build instrumental tracks \u2018Toy Shark<\/a>\"\"\u2019 and \u2018Burning\u2019 the album is packed full of songs that pull emotive lyrics with powerful vocal harmonies.<\/p>\n

The group\u2019s country influences shine through on tracks \u2018Farewell My Lovely\u2019 and \u2018Motorbikes<\/a>\"\"\u2019\u00a0 as well as on \u2018Those Dudes\u2019 at number eight \u2013 a perfect track to slow-dance to -provides an uplifting tone to an otherwise chilling, goosebump-inducing. The closing track, another uplifting space country piece, \u2018Sometime in Spring\u2019,\u00a0reminds you of a pleasant day in spring and leaves you swaying side-to-side.<\/p>\n
