\u2018Anywhere Love Took Us\u2019 is the new single from Canadian singer-songwriter Josh Taerk\u2019s spring EP \u2018Stages\u2019. On this new track, Josh has perfectly blended a summery Americana ballad about young love with Springteen-esque rock licks and solos \u2013 conjuring images of driving down the freeway with the roof down sitting next to a special someone.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Talking about the new single, Josh states that \u201cit\u2019s really easy to get caught up in the fast-paced world we\u2019re living in. ‘Anywhere Love Took Us<\/a>\"\"‘ is about making time for love, remembering where that love started and how that makes your love stronger.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u2018Stages<\/a>\"\"\u2019 was released this February and received critical praise from both Maverick Magazine and Get Ready To Rock, both giving the EP 4 stars in their reviews, and GTTR described it as an \u201cEP chock full of memorable songs\u201d. Josh wanted to \u201chonor the artist I am now and show the progression, my experiences and growth from \u2018Here\u2019s To Change\u2019,\u201d his previous album. \u201cThat\u2019s how I see all these songs, they\u2019re snapshots of the person I was at the time I wrote them, and a snapshot of the moment that lead me to that song.\u201d ‘Stages’ was produced by Teddy Morgan (writer, producer and guitar player for Kevin Costner & Modern West).<\/p>\n

The \u2018Stages\u2019 release was supported by a small tour of the UK which Josh described as feeling like he was \u201ccoming home.\u201d On this run of dates he was hailed as \u2018the new Boss\u2019 by the Bournemouth Echo and his high energy shows are something of a Taerk trademark. In an interview with us earlier this year he said \u201cwhether it\u2019s 500 or 5000, I\u2019m going to play the same show and give 200%.\u201d<\/a> Having also been named as one of the \u201cTop 5 Live Acts\u201d of 2015 by Get Ready To Rock, Josh\u2019s show is one to catch when he returns to the UK in May, armed with new songs from his highly anticipated 2018 album.<\/p>\n
