What is the inspiration behind the single \u2018Let Me Fall<\/a> For the single, I was inspired old synths and sounds. Bands like New Order, from the 80s. I worked on the album parallel to another album and touring, so I\u2019ve been working on it for quite a while. The album is all about freedom to express yourself, I mixed different genres and vocals with electronics. It\u2019s about doing what you want to do.<\/strong><\/p>\n What was the recording process like?<\/strong><\/p>\n I worked on this album in quite a lot of solitude. I used a different kind of synths, which resulted in a sound that\u2019s different.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n How would you describe your sound?<\/strong><\/p>\n Electronica with roots in Rock and Noise.<\/p>\n Would you like bring forward \u2013 the change in sound you\u2019ve achieved in this album \u2013 into your next work?<\/strong><\/p>\n My next album, I\u2019ve actually already recorded. It\u2019s made with a band, live in the studio. So it\u2019s different from this album. I work with different sounds in different albums because I enjoy experimenting and it’s often a reflection on my previous. I like to explore something I haven\u2019t tried. But the chords are always based round my voice and some roots from some pop-punk influences that always remain.<\/p>\n What would you say has been a major career highlight? What are some of your future goals?<\/strong><\/p>\n I got nominated for the composer of the year, in Sweden last year, that was a highlight, touring in New York and my collaborations with other artists like Yoshimi (Boredoms), John Tilbury and meeting up Sonic Youth the Sonic Youth members, those were definitely memorable.<\/p>\n For the future, there\u2019s the next album. Express myself more and keep doing what I\u2019m doing.
