Born in the north-west South African province of Tlhakgameng, Diamara was born Dineo Moseki, the youngest of five sisters. Now 24, she’s set to release ‘Machine Gun’, her first single under her new moniker, on April 13.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Dineo first rose to fame through ‘Idols SA’, the South African version of Pop Idol, entering the competition twice, and reaching the final 6 in 2015. She followed this up with her first single, the afro-house ‘Forenzo’, which quickly found its way onto TransAfrica Radio’s Top 40, where it reached the number one spot and stayed there for 10 weeks, and seeing airplay on the likes of Metro FM, YFM, and Capricorn FM.<\/p>\n

Outside of music, Diamara, who is known to her fans as Dynamite, and Platinum Baby, has been a part of Trek-4-Mandela, a charity which distributes santitary pads to underprivileged young girls. She also recently joined forces with the newly established Non Profit Organisation, the Re A Fana Charity Foundation.<\/p>\n
