The Suburbs have been a part of the musical fabric of Minneapolis for as long as anyone could remember. They demonstrated with their albums from the early 80s, such as ‘In Combo<\/a>\"\"‘, ‘Credit in Heaven<\/a>\"\"‘, and ‘Love Is The Law<\/a>\"\"‘, that it was possible for a group to be danceable and tough, intellectual and approachable, radio-ready and underground friendly – all at the same time. Their music from then sounds as fresh now as it did when it was first released. Nobody was surprised then when The Suburbs returned after a 25 year hiatus with an album just as good as those from back in the day.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

That album, ‘Si Sauvage’, was a Kickstarter success story, and garnered a 4 star review in AllMusic, spurring them on to the release of ‘Hey Muse!<\/a>‘, which itself has seen NPR call them “legendary” and the title track was picked up by them for a Heavy Rotation Feature – “10 Songs Public Radio Can’t Stop Playing<\/a>“.<\/p>\n
