Toronto-based hip hop and R&B singer\/songwriter and producer Mayze has dropped his debut EP, ‘The Afterparty’.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Released through REKLESS Collective, a media company founded by Mayze himself, the EP blends modern hip hop and R&B with an electronica sound. The 20 year old artist grew up listening to 50 Cent, Kanye West and Lil’ Wayne, and these influences are apparent in his music, as well as echoes of his contemporaries, including J Cole, Tory Lanez, and fellow Torontan, Drake. He taught himself to produce, record, and mix his music in order to develop his own style, and has honed his skills to such an extent as to present himself as a versatile singer, songwriter, and producer.<\/div>\n
