The Australian singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist returns to his post-hardcore roots, albeit with some pop-punk sensibilities in a song which he dedicates to his favourite childhood band, Linkin Park, and the late Chester Bennington.<\/strong><\/h4>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">[space height=&#8221;10&#8243;]<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8216;Who We Want To Be&#8217; is a departure from his most recent releases, which were largely pop ballads. Now he&#8217;s hitting heavy on the distortion, adding a screamo bridge to his otherwise rocky melodies.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">[space height=&#8221;10&#8243;]<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">The track includes turntable scratches, baritone vocals, and production techniques reminscent of the likes of Linkin Park and Papa Roach.
