With Tom, Rob and Nat essentially rising from the ashes of two bands at Abingdon School, Flatlands was later made complete with the addition of bassist Jamie.<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">They&#8217;ve gone from strength to strength, and have supported the likes of Yonaka and Rhys Lewis, as well as their own headline shows. Flatlands&#8217; sound is indie rock with a US West Coast dance punk vibe. Their new track, &#8216;Friday Night&#8217;, is fiercely paced with strong vocals and instrumentation in sync &#8211; nicely produced, it&#8217;s a great follow up to the band&#8217;s EP, &#8216;Provisional Licence&#8217;, which was released in January this year.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Flatlands are establishing for themselves a formidable reputation as a live act, which has been cemented by their performances over the summer.
