While there she joined the amateur TvM band, as one of the singers. She decided she&#8217;d like to sing a song written by herself, and was given the advice to write about any subject she wanted to, withot needing to make it rhyme. From there she learned that in addition to writing lyrics and melody, she also had to write the chords to be able to own her song. Undeterred, she watched YouTube videos, and learned how to find the right chords in a day. She started writing her own songs late last year, and released &#8216;Wish&#8217; in August. Saycille is set to release her first EP shortly, with a full album, &#8216;Heartbeat&#8217;, in February.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8216;Wish&#8217; is an upbeat and light-hearted song, which blends pop, folk, and rock elements, and should appeal to fans of Corinne Bailey Rae.
