Following the stellar reaction to their dazzling 13th studio album \u2018The Punishment Of Luxury’, out now on 100% Records, which entered the UK Album Chart at #4, OMD have released a brand new video for \u2018What We Have Done\u2019, the third 12″ single to be taken from the record.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The new single is the band\u2019s first to feature Paul Humphreys on lead vocals in over 30 years and the vinyl release was limited to just 1,000 copies worldwide. Paul describes the track as<\/p>\n

\n

“an intensely personal song about life, love and loss. It’s about facing and confronting life changing decisions, and situations, that we all have to face at some point in our lives, and then having to live and deal with the resulting and inescapable consequences of our choices.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The stunning new video is entirely shot from a drone\u2019s perspective. OMD\u2019s Andy McCluskey said:<\/p>\n

“The opportunity to combine an abstract aerial aesthetic with human vignettes was not to be missed. The viewer is a weightless voyeur of landscape and emotional condition\u2026 “<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Written, recorded, produced and mixed by OMD \u2013 Andy McCluskey and Paul Humphreys \u2013 the album is the sound of a band in their prime.<\/p>\n

“On this album we have managed to make beautiful things out of noises and repetitive patterns”, explains Andy. “The trouble is, we just can\u2019t help but write a catchy melody!”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

With the first 8 shows already behind them, OMD continue their UK tour in November at the following dates, including The Camden Roundhouse tomorrow night, November 13th:<\/p>\n
