Radiator King, aka Adam Silvestri, was created in 2011 when Adam was just starting out in hardcore punk. Hailing from Boston, Massachusetts, but now based in Brooklyn, Silvestri watched how legendary underground artists such Bane and Have Heart altered the way people thought throught their music. Radiator King does the same thing with his own music, although he’s now graduated from punk to Americana – bringing a whole new sonic approach to the table with the table, with his track, ‘The Guns You Pawned’.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Radiator King graduated from punk and now creates music Ameriana took six separate tours coast to coast in 2013 and 2014 alone, and has played everywhere from basements and bars, to art galleries and cafes. His 2015 album, ‘Document Untold’, saw him undertake another six week tour across both coasts. This year he released his third studio album, ‘A Hollow Triumph After All’, which he followed up with yet another cross-country tour. He describes the album as “a sacred and profound attempt to transcend pain, loss and suffering by celebrating a life well-lived, while at once acknowledging the darkly tragicomic catch 22 of existence\u2014that we\u2019re born to die.\u201d<\/p>\n

A sonic lovechild of Punk and Blues, these themes are translated with the most honest of expressions. ‘The Guns You Pawned’ shines the spotlight on this concept, and the music video is a flawless representation of just that. His all-American working class style, mixed with his rugged voice, presents an authenticity of hardship and brings chills of familiarity down the spines of his fast growing fan base.<\/p>\n
