The track is the first single from his forthcoming EP, &#8216;I Don&#8217;t Want To Leave&#8217;.<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>[space height=&#8221;10&#8243;]<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Los Angeles-based Midoca says, &#8220;The Void is inspired by the acknowledgement of both the physical and mental artifacts that remain after a separation.&#8221;<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">[space height=&#8221;10&#8243;]<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">The song is characterised by Midoca&#8217;s smooth voice, sitting comfortably atop the mostly electronic instrumentation. Falling somewhere between pop and alt-rock, &#8216;The Void&#8217; is lyrically quite moving, singing of dead roses by the bedside kept to rememeber the former love.
