Generationals pay homage to a generation of synth-heavy 80s pop with their new single, ‘Catahoula Man’, the band’s 5th single release for 2017 alone.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Citing their inspiration for the track from early American-Modernist painter, Stuart Davis, best known for his jazz-influenced proto-pop art paintings in the 1940s and 50s. Battling depression behind his colourful art, Davis continued to create beautiful, poppy art, despite his mental state. Generationals took note of this, and the video for ‘Catahoula Man’, created by director an animator Micah Gardner, shows this.<\/p>\n
