Born in Angola and raised in Austin, Texas, David Cobo’s story is one of a man fighting for freedom – from social constructs, haters, and to speak the truth. In the video for his new song, ‘No One’, David Cobo takes us through his artistic evolution, and wears his heart on his sleeve, in this no-holds-barred clip.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Discovering his passion for music at a young age, David Cobo took destiny into his own hands and moved to the city, after graduating from high school. He started writing and recording his own music, and put in more many many hours of effort, in order to raise his skills to a level he’d never had before, and develop his own sound. ‘No One’ showcases his fully-loaded, aggressive delivery, and David fights off those who doubted him, with a strong beat and impressive vocals.<\/p>\n

The video for ‘No One’ begins with Cobo alone, creating, going through his journal, writing and rewriting lyrics. By the time of the second verse, we see him following the train tracks, symbolic of his journey as an artist. He follows his path blindly, led solely by his passion, and fuelled by the desire to show those who didn’t believe in him. For the third verse, Cobo is in the studio, spilling his heart out to the microphone.<\/p>\n
