Lauren Deakin Davies, aka DIDI is back again with her new track, ‘Back Off’. Feisty and fierce, the producer come singer-songwriter has once again given her listeners a musical feast.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

‘Back Off’ is guitar led with ample percussive support and DIDIs vocals are strong and ferocious as she rocks spits out the lyrics – we don’t want to be the person she’s directing all this passion at, as she clearly doesn’t have any time for him at all.<\/p>\n

‘I can tell by the tone of your voice you don’t like me
\nBut I’d rather stick knives in my eyes then endure this
\nFor one more second of your behaviour
\nBecause I am trying so hard here not to hate you<\/p>\n

Because we are so much more than that’<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Lauren says of ‘Back Off”:<\/p>\n

“This track was written when I had just got off the train after this guy was shouting as this drunk girl on the way home from London, and he starting dissing her education and race and it really pissed me off. so yeah :’)”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

She channelled her rage into the lyrics, and added high flying riffs, backing vocals, and thumping drums.<\/p>\n

Set for release on August 28, and produced by Rhiannon Mair, ‘Back Off’ is the high quality that we’ve come to expect from Lauren, who’s been praised by no less than Matthew Milligan of Wheatus, who said,<\/p>\n

“DIDI\u2019s got a very unique thing going on that I really dig, sounds really cool, great voice”.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
