London duo, Next Fix announce the release of their new single, ‘The Outskirts’, on 10 August.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Elecro\/indie rock Next Fix, comprising Rafael Tolemak and Edward Ezra, channel 70s rock blended with synth-pop from the 80s, while using modern production techniques, and cite among their influences legendary electro artists such as Daft Punk, Depeche Mode, and Kraftwerk.<\/div>\n

‘The Outskirts’ is about two lovers struggling to find acceptance in a judgemental society, and we feel a Gary Numan vibe to the vocals, but the influence of Depeche Mode is very clear. Midway through the track there is an Eastern-style bridge which goes very well with the synth and percussion-heavy instrumentals.<\/div>\n
