It\u2019s hard to believe that \u2018The Man Who\u2019 has\u00a0already come of age.\u00a0\u00a0Released 18\u00a0years ago in May 1999, it sounds as fresh today as it did\u00a0then. On 8th\u00a0September, this iconic album will be released as a special edition 2X vinyl,\u00a02X CD set including the band\u2019s favourite B\u00a0sides and of course the timeless\u00a0singles, \u2018Writing To Reach You\u2019, \u2018Driftwood\u2019, \u2018Turn\u2019 and possibly the band\u2019s\u00a0most iconic song, \u2018Why\u00a0Does It Always Rain On Me\u2019.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

One of the most successful British albums of\u00a0the last 20 years, and produced by Nigel Godrich, \u2018The Man Who\u2019 spent an\u00a0astonishing 11\u00a0weeks at Number 1, selling nearly 3 million copies. It was the\u00a0biggest selling UK album in 2000, propelled by an incendiary Glastonbury\u00a0performance in the rain! Recognition quickly followed including Ivor Novello\u00a0Awards for \u2018Best Songwriter\u2019 &\u00a0\u2018Best Contemporary\u00a0Song\u2019 for \u2018Why Does It Always Rain On Me?\u2019 and BRIT Awards\u00a0for \u2018Best British Band\u2019 and \u2018Best British Album\u2019.<\/div>\n
