Cold Roses, with their unique take on Americana, fully embrace their rock-meets-country-meets-blues vibe, and it’s no less obvious than in the fact their very name is taken from a Ryan Adams song.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Lead vocalist and guitarist, Rob Clancy, had played guitar for years in bands in and around Philadelphia, but he’d long held a vision for playing his own style of music. He rallied a like-minded crew around him – Brandon Porter on bass, Alex Ayala on keys, and RM Webb on drums. The lineup was fully completed with the addition of Rick Rein on trumpet, and Tom Petraccaro on sax. Perfecting their live show with gigs around Philadelphia, Cold Roses released their debut album, ‘No Silence In The City’ in 2014.<\/p>\n

Their followup LP, ‘Escape To Anywhere’, is set for release on July 21, and has so far spawned the single, ‘Staying Alive Ain’t Easy’, on May 26. It comes with a video directed by Luke Paglia, which switches between shots of the band in the studio recording, and performing live. We also see some of daily life, out and about in Philadelphia. The end product is a day in the life of Cold Roses.<\/p>\n
