Earlier this year we featured Sydney artist, Kevin Tiah, and his track, ‘Fight For You’<\/a>. Now he’s back, with the lyric video for his song, ‘Bring Back 2005’, a post-punk jam that does exactly what it says on the tin.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Getting his start as the lead vocalist and guitarist of a post hardcore\/screamo band in Sydney, Kevin performed at venus like The Metro, Factory Theatre, and Oxford Art Factory, before deciding to go solo. ‘Fight For You’, a piano-based pop ballad, is about as far from screamo as you can get, and showed off\u00a0Kevin’s immense musical talents. Now with his new single, ‘Bring Back 2005’, he’s dabbling in another genre altogether, this time celebrating the nostalgia that fans of pop-punk love, and implementing an instrumentation and vocal melody that could easily have come from the likes of Simple Plan.<\/p>\n

Accompanying his track is a lyric video, illustrated by Franco Illustrations, which reminds of\u00a0everything we loved\u00a0about 2005 – Limewire downloads, Hot Topic fashion, Razor Scooters, Nokia Phones, MSN, and girls wearing tube tops.<\/p>\n
