Featuring the lead single, &#8216;My Man&#8217;, &#8216;Sandy&#8217; will be available to download from 19 May.<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Originally from Oregon, Aja Volkman&#8217;s musical talent was obvious from an early age, and her career blossomed when she joined forces with War Paint frontwoman Emily Kohal. She continued her foray into the music scene in 2004, by joining the successful LA rock-trio, Nico Vega, who released their first full length album in 2009, to critical acclaim. Billboard Magazine hailed it as &#8220;The most unstoppable pop-rock hooks heard all year.&#8221; The band continued to gain popularity from 2014-2015, when they landed a support slot for Imagine Dragons.
