Kasabian’s sixth studio album, ‘For Crying Out Loud<\/a>‘, is out today on Columbia.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Written and produced by Kasabian’s Serge Pizzorno, and recorded at his Leicester studio, The\u00a0Sergery, ‘For Crying Out Loud’ is twelve tracks of everything that makes Kasabian one of the UKs best ever bands.<\/p>\n

‘You’re In Love With A Psycho’, the lead single from the album, is a hook-laden pop song, while new summer anthem ‘Bless This Acid House’, the very catchy ‘Good Fight’, and the angst-ridden ‘Ill Ray (the King)’ are definite highlights to look out for.<\/p>\n

Serge says of the album:<\/p>\n

\u201cI decided to give myself six weeks to write an album like they used to do back in the day and that became really inspiring. I made sure there was no fat on anything, it was going to be classic songs, no self-indulgence, nothing was going on there that shouldn\u2019t. I\u2019d heard Berry Gordy had said if you\u2019ve not got them in the first four bars then you\u2019re finished, so I went in with this old school attitude of song-writing.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

In contrast to 2014 release, ’48:13′, which was more of an electronic album, Kasabian’s aim with ‘For Crying Out Loud’ was to make a truly great guitar record.\u00a0\u201cWe wanted to make a very positive album full of hope with guitars to remind people that it\u2019s still relevant,\u201d Serge said.<\/p>\n

Kasabian’s spring UK tour, which saw the band play three sold out nights at The Forum, received rave reviews, and they are now set to play headline slots at Reading\/Leeds and TRNSMT, as well as many other festivals around Europe this summer.<\/p>\n
