Listening to the album you focus more on the meaning &#8211; hidden as well as obvious. The lyrics are about life in Essex, on the dole, relationships, TV. Puns and plays on words (pear for pair for instance) make the album all the more enjoyable, the ten tracks draw you in, compelling you to see\u00a0both the humour and sadness &#8211; hopelessness even &#8211; of a life that appears to have no direction or purpose.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">[space height=&#8221;10&#8243;]<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Stan Blade takes his inspiration from the likes of George The Poet, Jamie T, and Kate Tempest, and doesn&#8217;t write down his lyrics, but instead freestyles, with the idea that if it&#8217;s any good, he&#8217;ll remember it when it comes time to record.
