Mike Sarge, from Atlanta, Georgia, is not your average hip-hop artist. Rather than finding his inspiration in alcohol, women, and fast cars, Mike’s music is faith-driven, and stem from an aim to “inspire people to be authentic to who they are”.<\/strong><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
He was raised in a family-oriented and God-fearing environment, but Mike wanted nothing to do with it, choosing his own lifestyle once he went out to college. He found however his life started turning for the worse the more he ran way from God, and after having a near death experience, Mike made the decision to stop running and instead turned to Christ.<\/div>\n

Mike says, in the description on the video for his new track, ‘Graduate’:<\/div>\n

Way too often, we live life without appreciating how far we have truly come. Our past may have many flaws, mistakes, and negative assumptions; but we forget that we’re not the person that others said we would turn out to be. Graduated is dedicated to the underdogs and everyone that was told they would fail.<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n
Mike is set to release his EP, ‘Outta Line’, on March 24, and found its inception in comments from others for being “out of line”, simply by being himself. Instead of allowing that to knock him down, Mike took the phrase and explores it through his EP, while not holding back when creating the tracks.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

In addition to being a musical artist, Mike is in the US Air Force, as well as a Church Youth Minister.<\/div>\n

Mike draws influences from hip-hop, soul, and gospel, with his EP delivering an engaging openness and clarity to speak to people on a whole new level.
