Combining a country folk-pop sound with a classic rock edge, Koreen Perry, from Edmonton Alberta, brings a meaningful message in her latest track, ‘Dreams In A Bucket’.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Koreen produced her self-titled first album with the encouragement of a grant from a local radio station, RAWLCO Radio’s Up! 99.3, an album of original tracks mixed with covers of songs by icons such as Olivia Newton-John, ABBA, and Fleetwood Mac. After performing at several festival showcases, including Canadian Music Week, and Canadian Country Music Week, Koreen developed a refined production to her performances reminiscent of fellow Canadian, Shania Twain.<\/p>\n

Her new EP, ‘Evolved’, has recently been released and taken up by country radio stations across Canada. The five track EP has\u00a0a pop-country flavour, which has been received favourably, and several of her songs have been included in the soundtrack for the film, ‘Breaking Spirits’, directed by Shaun Donnelly. The film, which will be released in the spring, also sees\u00a0Koreen in a main supporting role, as well as her band performing the track, ‘See Through You’, the video for which has been made by Donnelly of clips from the film:<\/p>\n
